Our Ojectives

St. Francis College of Animal Homeopathy was established in 2003.  Our Animal Health Practitioners  – express that our primary aim is to deliver quality and comprehensive learning to an individual to feel confident in the application of providing a sound and comprehensive knowledge of natural animal health and medicines for the animal species.

Homeopathy is an exciting area of medicine and we know you will find it stimulating, rewarding and exciting.

It is again increasing in popularity as more people disfavour allopathic drug therapy with its unfortunate side effects – both in human and animals.

Veterinary homeopathy has a long history. Dr Samuel Hahnemann, who formulated the system in the early nineteenth century, is known to have treated animals, and his pupil Von Boenninghausen also applied homeopathy on the animals on his country estate. However, the first veterinary surgeon known to have used homeopathy was Wilhelm Lux. He is also attributed with having invented the use of nosodes and he wrote the first book on veterinary homeopathy, Zooiasis, in 1837.

Homeopathy allows the animal to be treated without residues, which makes it a non-toxic treatment not only for the treated animal but also for the consumer and the environment. Finally, the treatment costs are generally very low and very effective.

STFCAH provides a sound knowledge that can be suitable for anyone curious about providing complementary support for your pets and farm animals.

Our success as a college is largely due to our ability to meet our primary objective – to deliver quality, comprehensive information for external learning, to a person anywhere in the world. STFCAH is not a school of veterinary science, medicine and surgery.

Our Mission

  • The purpose of the college is to learn the philosophy, art & science of homeopathic remedies (natural medicines)
  • To bring together collective experience that will carry animal homeopathy into your home, farm, or animal practise
  • To provide animals with the same high quality of homeopathic care that is available in human medicine
  • To leave a legacy that will ultimately result in a more compassionate world for all animals.
